    Download Rocky Linux

This page covers the full process of obtaining Rocky Linux installation media: choosing a version line, downloading from mirrors or direct links, and verifying the CHECKSUM. All data is maintained from the distribution profile archive.

    Major Status GA EOL Kernel
    10 Current 2025-06 2035-05 6.12
    9 Current 2022-07 2032-05 5.14
    8 Maintenance 2021-06 2029-05 4.18

Lifecycle dates are the planned end of support (YYYY-MM); status badges are evaluated at build time. The upstream project is authoritative: Official Rocky Linux website.

    MirrorRepository root
    Official (Global)https://dl.rockylinux.org/rocky
    CN (Aliyun)https://mirrors.aliyun.com/rockylinux

Rocky publishes images and checksum files under a per-major-version tree (dl.rockylinux.org/pub/rocky/10/), so you can fetch per-architecture images and their checksums from there.

Rocky Linux publishes latest symlinks that always point at the current minor release:

    Terminal window
    # DVD image (recommended, full package set)
    curl -LO https://dl.rockylinux.org/rocky/10/isos/x86_64/Rocky-10-latest-x86_64-dvd.iso
    # Minimal image (minimal server install)
    curl -LO https://dl.rockylinux.org/rocky/10/isos/x86_64/Rocky-10-latest-x86_64-minimal.iso

With a regional mirror, replace the official repository root https://dl.rockylinux.org/rocky in the commands above with the mirror’s repository root (e.g. https://mirrors.aliyun.com/rockylinux); everything from /10/isos/... onward stays the same.

Always verify the CHECKSUM file in the ISO directory (SHA-256 plus GPG signing notes):

    Terminal window
    curl -LO https://download.rockylinux.org/pub/rocky/10/isos/x86_64/CHECKSUM
    sha256sum Rocky-10-latest-x86_64-dvd.iso
